The Vallejo Drive Church has a rich history of outstanding music in it's worship services.
The choir sings weekly in the traditional service from September through June. The sanctuary choir is under the direction of Ariel Quintana, who holds a doctorate in choral conducting from USC. He is also the assistant conductor of the Los Angeles Master Chorale. More than one third of the singers in the choir have sung professionally and most of them have a long history of choral singing.
The organist is Elisabeth Remboldt whose outstanding musicianship has been blessing worshipers at Vallejo for 20 years. The Casavant pipe organ has more than 4000 pipes and is recognized as the finest instrument of it's kind in California. With the live acoustics of the sanctuary the hymn singing is a moving experience.
The church bell choir provides music once a month and is also under the direction of Ariel Quintana.
The children's choir sings once a month and is under the direction of Jenelle Westerbeck Anderson who also holds a doctorate in choral conducting from USC.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining any of these music groups please contact the church office at (818) 246-2476 for information.
Also the adult Sabbath School program has a wide variety of musicians who provide excellent and uplifting music on a weekly basis. Often guest musicans provide the weekly program. Information about the Sabbath School programs is listed in the Adult Sabbath school page. (Adult Sabbath School)
For those who enjoy contemporay music we have two contemporary services. "The Walk" worship Saturday morning at 11:45 in the Chapel (The Walk) and "Truth & Spirit" that meets on Friday evening at 7:30pm. (Truth & Spirit) Both services offer contemporary praise music.
